We are a friendly family based in Balham (SW12) looking for mother’s help starting in October. The position is to care for a happy bright little girl aged 3 years. Approximately 30 hours a week with exact timing to be discussed. You will be responsible for all nursery duties and happy to plan stimulating and educational activities, ensuring the little girl has plenty of fresh air on a daily basis. You will also be responsible to cook the little girl’s dinner and potentially family meals in the evenings; to keep clean and tidy the little girl’s bedroom, play areas and general house; light house work. You must be organised and plan the week well and be creative, loving and caring. She enjoys arts and crafts and each week the little girl attends activities. The little girl attends nursery on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.00 am - 4.30 pm and on Wednesdays from 9.00 am- 2.00 pm. The family has a weekly cleaner for 6 hours. You must have solid nanny experience, qualifications preferred but not essential. You must have an up to date CRB or be happy to apply for a new one and a First Aid Course would preferable. The candidate must have checkable references. There may also be ad hoc evening and weekend babysitting. Must have a can do attitude, be a self-starter and have a sunny nature. Spanish as a first or second language is a bonus but not essential. You do not need to drive. The position is to start mid/late October. Please email your Cv in response to this advert.
