Nanny
Starting in January 2015, we are looking for a near full-time nanny to look after our 11 month old daughter & near 3 year old son (those will be their ages in January). We are looking for a kind, caring person who has energy and is excited about spending a whole day with little ones. Our 3 year old will be in part time playgroup, so about half the time will be with just one child. Mum works from home, but has a separate office in the garden.


The successful nanny should have the following qualities, skills and experience:

- Should be articulate

- Should be flexible with hours

- Should be adaptable with duties

- Should be confident and outgoing

- Should be engaging and keen to stimulate and develop the children

- Should have previous childcare experience

- Should have a paediatric first aid certificate

- Should have a full clean driving license and a car suitable for Work Use


The nanny will also be required to fulfil the following duties:

- Playgroup Drop off / Pickup

- Should be able to plan, and carry out fun, interactive play

- Should be able to plan, organise and cook healthy nutritious meals

- Should take the child out for fresh air (and sunshine depending on English weather!) on a daily basis

- Ensure both children are well rested

- Nursery duties including washing and tidying the children's bedroom / playroom

- No general housework will be expected as we have a separate cleaner


Hours are:

Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm
Every 4 - 6 weeks, a longer week of Monday - Friday 7:45am - 6pm.
