We are looking to hire a full time nanny / housekeeper to look after our 2 year old daughter and keep the home fires burning while we’re at work. We are 2 busy (Australian) professionals who work in London full time (we do not work from home). Our daughter is at nursery half a day each day, and you would have sole charge of her outside nursery hours, including nursery pick up and drop off (10 mins drive away).

Hours:

- 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday

- occasional early start or late finish, sometimes on short notice

Term time role - nanny/housekeeper:

- during term time, our daughter will be at nursery the following hours:

*Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 12.45pm to 3.45pm

*Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8.45am to 11.45pm

- you would do nursery pick up and drop off and do housekeeping duties while our daughter is at nursery

Non-term time role - Full time nanny:

- arrange age-appropriate activities for our daughter, such as play dates, music groups and other toddler activities

- light housekeeping

- cleaning duties and ironing to be outsourced to a cleaning agency, as needed (you would arrange this, we would pay)

Housekeeping duties:

- planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks for our daughter, stocking up the freezer with these

- online shopping (Ocado) for ingredients for our daughter's meals and snacks

- laundry for family, including ironing

- cleaning the house weekly (hoovering, dusting, mopping, bathrooms, kitchen)

- emptying bins as needed

Salary / terms:

- competitive

- full salary (including overtime) to be declared and all taxes paid

- 4 weeks’ paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays

- statutory sick pay

- use of family car during the day

You will need:

- at least 5 years’ sole charge nannying or nanny/housekeeping experience

- up to date DBS check

- up to date child first aid qualification (sufficient for Ofsted registration)

- drivers’ licence

Essential qualities:

- self-motivated, organised, neat and tidy, flexible, safety-conscious, competent cook

We would be happy to give you contact details for our previous nanny and (separate) cleaner, both of whom were with us for several years before we moved to Bishop's Stortford.
